Celebrate the #NewBackStory!

BackStory relaunches this Friday with our new podcast. Help us celebrate by changing your cover and/or profile photos on Twitter and Facebook. See below for images and further instructions.

Also, be sure to subscribe to BackStory so you won’t miss an episode. If you’re new to podcasts, the best way to find BackStory is by searching for it through iTunes’ app store, Google Play, Stitcher or other favorite apps. You can subscribe to BackStory through Feedburner, too.

We’re also members of the Panoply network now, so look for us there beginning Feb. 3. And if all else fails, just continue to visit the website! We’ll always post new episodes here and you can stream or download directly from the page.

I started listening to Backstory on WAMU…but since I’ve moved here to Florida, I have listened to your podcasts. I have learned so much from listening and I am pleased to hear you are continuing as a podcast, with a new format and new hosts. I’ll continue to listen and will try to support you guys this year. Thanks and continue the good work.

But neither the file you tweeted nor the one on your website says how long it is. You said it wouldn’t be an hour any more, but does that mean it’s 30 minutes, 5 minutes…?

This week’s show is 52 minutes. I’ll try to make sure the length is more clear in the future. Thanks for letting us know!

I just listened to you Urban/Rural ep. I loved the format. I listened to your podcast sporadically before, but now I plan to make it priority listening. Thank you!

Peter is still very much a part of the show behind the scenes, but since he is semi-retired, he’ll only host from time to time. Thanks for asking!

So excited to hear the new phase of Backstory. But I must say I panicked when I didn’t hear Peter in the intro. You’re all fantastic, but…the three amigos!

The new format leaves much to be desired. One of the hosts has the giggles and another seems to be excessively focused on African- American issues.
