Well-Regulated Militias

Earlier this year, tensions with Citizens for Constitutional Freedom, a group of armed protesters who’d occupied a federal wildlife refuge in Oregon, ended in bloodshed.  Federal agents shot one of the protesters, and soon after the rest surrendered to the FBI. 

In this episode of BackStory, the Guys consider different groups who have taken up arms – from Revolutionary War veterans protesting taxes, to the birth of the Ku Klux Klan after the Civil War, and violent labor protests in the 20th century.
